Tipped by their peers as 'the ones to watch', Demark & Manna have not yet proven them wrong, with their remixes and original productions topping charts all over the globe. After performing a few gigs together in 2009 and a couple of subsequent studio sessions, the duo realised they had a powerful connection, both creatively and on the live front and decided to join forces and things have been going from strength to strength ever since.
Already successful in their own individual rights (Demark hit the number one spot on almost every dance chart around the world with his remake of Elton John's 'Tiny Dancer' and Manna has experienced comparable success with his releases on Kingdom Kome Cuts topping charts in Germany), their collaborations are proving to be just as hot as their solo offerings.
In less than a year they have remixed more than 15 tracks for some of the industry's most influential labels and for some of the biggest names in the scene including Albin Myers - Times Like These (Neon Records), Agnes - Release Me (Neon Records), Syke N Sugarstarr - Ticket To Ride (Delicious Garden Germany), Patric La Funk - Next To You (We Play Germany), City Life - Never Too Late (One Love), Dabruck & Klein - Lönneberga (We-Play Germany), Denzal Park - Ascension and Madagascar (Neon Records) and Stafford Brothers - Wherever (Ministry Of Sound). Most of their remixes have topped the Aria Club Charts hitting the top ten and number one as well as topping charts around Europe.
But all this remixing didn't stop the guys from focusing on their original productions, with the duo even forming their own inprint, MADE Music. Launched in late 2010, the label already has six releases out to date, with two of those topping the ARIA Club Chart. The majority of those successful records were also original productions including the collaboration with Full Intention to remake their hit classic 'America' which went top 10 on the Beatport chart and was also featured on Pete Tong Radio 1 show and reaching N8 on the ARIA Club Chart. Another big record that deserves a mention was Demark & Manna ft Terri B - Do You Believe, which also made its mark on the Aria Club chart at N13 and was signed to WE-PLAY for Europe. The record also topped the German Dance Chart.
The phenomenal success looks set to continue into 2011 with the signing of some strong projects and more killer records on the way. The focus is on original productions with an album on the way for the end of the year and a string of records coming out on some heavy duty labels like: Demark & Manna vs Mind Electric ft Max'C - Wild Out to be released on Vicious Records with a remix package including a Chris Lake & Marco Lys remix. Demark & Manna - Mifuso to be released on We-Play Germany and two more records to come out on their inprint, MADE Music, Demark & Manna ft Mark Shine - Diggin You Girl and Demark & Manna ft Max'C - You Don't Know.
Demark and Manna have so far gained support from some of the biggest DJ's on the planet such as Tiesto, Dabruck & Klein, Pete Tong, Laidback Luke, Chris Lake, TV Rock & Carl Kennedy just to name a few. We think it's safe to say that the duo will be on the radar well into 2011 and beyond.
